Reflection
Gill’s Grill was an opportunity to explore a more refined visual language. I focused on creating a brand that felt upscale but approachable, playing with typography, layout, and texture to match the tone of a high-end seafood dining experience.
One of the main challenges was avoiding clichés while still signaling quality and elegance. I experimented with subtle details and restraint, making sure every element felt intentional without overdoing it.
This project helped me get more comfortable with working in a polished, minimal style and pushed me to think about how design choices influence perception and atmosphere.
